It is high-time to add the Rock am Ring 2010 to the collection of concerts, we've got on record. It took more time than predicted, but eventually I think that it came out brilliantly, as you soon will be convinced yourselve! Enjoy! :)
As I already mentioned last time, April is the month when we will know more about Gas and his condition and where is the band heading from here. In the best occasion, he will be ready to start practising again and they will manage to perform a few times in summertime. Another interesting fact is that, according to Seppo, the songs for the new album are SORTED! Well, it is still uclear wheather they will get in the studio to record them or they have already been mixed and dealt with. So let's hope for great news at Easter!
It's getting harder and harder to choose lives. I changed at least 3 times the Mart video of the month. ;) I wish they could play this one more often at gigs. This is a video from 2005. The period is known for the Dark Light hysteria in the USA.

Literally a few minutes ago the oldest counter hit half million visits... So let me finish the article, as I had no time at all to do this in the last 2 weeks. I wish to inform you for a new feature of the website. It was high time to be introduced, especially to make your life here easier. it is to do with the categorization in TVRequest. Basically now it will be much easier for you to browse and download video materials. It will be however available only for registered users from the menu standing on the right (Special Menu) - i.e only if you enter TVRequest from there, it will show you the table with videos.
The other new feature I am introducing in the website ( and sincerely hoping to be used often) ;) is - Send Video!
And now one no so good news, which, however, can't be a 100 % truthful. According to MTV3+ Gas's condition is far more complicated than expected and he is going to a new doctor's appointment and therefore more information about the band's intentions from then on will be clearer after that.
Through the next days we will upload the traditional video of the month + some others little changes about the website. I haven't forgotten about the Rock am Ring 2010, but the processing has been taking a bit longer than expected.
The interview with Ville taken by Kerrang! is out. Maybe we were waiting for hell of a more information but we should be glad for anything we get. :) many of the questions stay unanswered, but this shouldn't trouble us as the things go in the right direction. As for Gas and his nerve problems - it seems like it's not as bad as it could be, and still there should pass some time for the complete recovery. They still haven't chosen a label to sign a contract with.
Here comes a few quotes: "There seems to be verry little mistique in music at the moment" - Ville continues. "And I really miss that. I want to recapture some sense of mistique, if I can.I want to make music that goes back to when we were directly influenced by Black Sabbath, which I can imagine can be very confusing to the people who work at Warner Brothers and who would be complaining that they couldn't get this played on the radio. Who cares? I don't. I'd like the album to be released on Rise Above (the cult, underground, doom metal label owned by the Cathedral singer Lee Dorrian). I think that would be great. We can get in back to being just about the misic, about the mistique;we'll get back into people's faces in the best possible way and remind them exactly what we're capable of." HIM hope to be back at the public's line of vision at some point this year.In an ideal world the group will perform concerts - possibly festivals - in the summer, and will release their eighth studio album by the time the nights have drawn in. Whether or not the band's profile will have diminished in their absence is a question waiting to be answered. What seems to be without doubt , though, is that (at least in the eyes of their singer) HIM will return rawer, rarer and purer than they have been for many a long year.

The good news are that Kerrang Magazine have taken phone interview with Ville which will be published next week! It will inform us for the things that have happened to the band by now and those who are up to happen.

Eventually, we decided there is no use of it anymore, and furthermore most of the profiles are 5-6 years old and maybe it's not appropriate to be there anymore...

Let's start the new year with a good news, of course concerning Ville! Radio YleX (Finland) announced Ville Valo for the best frontman in Finland after a short poll among over 15 000 people. So that's where the news end :)
There is no track of the band...it seems like they have hidden into the studio rehearsing and working hard. As for the album - supposingly the release would be in August or September. The possibility to be out during the first half of the year is almost near the zero and besides there is not enought time for such a follow-on...in this case at least the official webpage should have been available by now. Let's hope they haven't decided to leave it for December 2012 :) I do believe that the waiting will be wеll- deserved! ;)

There is no new information about what is going on with the band. Basically Gas should have recovered completely by now and should be intensively rehearsing. The new album is in process of developing. Let's hope that the next news is gonna ephasize on its being completed and not on them getting to the studio. :)

Only a few days ago a short interview featuring Ville poped out from Revolver magazine where he was chosen to be the Hottest Dude in Hard Rock and Metal. Voters became more than 400, 000 people, 150, 000 of which voted for Ville. In the interview he reveals why they have slowed down the work on the new album and when we can expect the new songs. It turns out that Gas had some problems with his arms wich was the main reason to postpone the rehearsals. It seems, though, that from December on everything will be fine and they can continue working. :) The whole interview you can read from HERE
