Right now the band is recording the second video of Screamworks. The place is Melbourne, Australia, where the band is touring at the moment. It is still vage what the video would be like, as well as which is the chosen song, but it is most probably Scared To Death. See here...
So 9 years after releasing his first album The King of Rock'n Roll, Linde is coming back with his new project Daniel Lioneye and the album "Vol. II". Completely different and quite heavy, the album contains 9 songs and is expected to be released on 27th April 2010. This time in the project participate only Burton (HIM/ keyboards), Bolton (Enochian Crescent/drums) and Linde (guitar, bass, vocals).

There is an update - two different types of the website. The first one is in red and is in Synnin Viemma menu!The other one is in black and white and is in TVRequest section, but is visible only when you enter the Specials Menu.
Our friend Stasko, who we well lknow from Audio Covers menu in the website, is participating in the heartagram.com competition for a Heartkiller cover. Firstly I want to say that in the past few weeks the votes for Heartkiller were canclled twice in the ROCK40 chart. That act was a respond to the many registered accounts of same people voting for the song and the fake votes that tey have made.
In the next issue of BRAVO magazine for Bulgaria there will be a poster of HIM! It wll be of one of the newest band pictures!
Just a few hours ago in Berlin there wasa 'secret' gig for the new album! Here are some videos from it:
Also Screamworks is already with golden status in Finland, only two days after it was released....Around 15000 copies were sold only there! We will keep an eye how it is acccepted teh charts in the other countries as well!
There are only 7 days until the release of the album and it is amazing that it still is not unlegally in the web. This of course is good for some and bad for others. And as bad as I want to hear it, actually I'm glad that they keep it so thoughtfully. (Right...it will be out, we'll be listening to it for half an year and will start moaning for a new one).
It is intriguing that there are also 7 websites left with the names of the songs from the album - like http://likesaintvalentine.com, http://shattermewithhope.com and some that don't work yet - http://odetosolitube.com, http://invenereveritas.com and so on. Expect in the next 7 days the videos to be released one by one. And they as a whole ( or at least in my opinion) are a way better than Heartkiller, Bleed Well, Killing Lonelines and so on.
When it comes to the ZRock Rock40 chart - last week we were the second.This one, on the other side, we are much better with the votes and if we keep voting the same way we should become number 1 for first week ( just for the release of the album :P )So don't forget voting every 24 hours :)
Especially for the people who didn't have the chance to listen to the chart on Saturday I did my best to record it so it can reach your years people :)

Also yesterday in Elit on Chanel 1 they said a few words about the new HIM album and played a part from Heartkiller - all this is available on HimTube.

After asking for his opinion about the fact that many of the people who already have had the chance to listen to the album say that the songs, to some extent, remind of the first albums of the band- Ville does not deny but adds:
- Acoustic Funeral reminds a lot of When Love And Death Embrace. - Love, The Hardest Way on the other hand have a 'Right Here My Arms' rock beat. - Scared To Death is in classical pop-rock style as well as Join Me. - Ode to Solitube is the heaviest track in the album - "is a kind of Metallica meets Fleetwood Mac meets Buffalo Springfield thing" -at moments the drums sound in a Lars Ulrich style (from Metallica),but afterwards they calm down with blues elements.
As a whole he doesn't deny that the album holds American rhythms, too, but this wasn't the producer Matt Squire's contribution, but their own one.
I won't repeat anything else apart from the fact that The Foreboding Sense Of Impending Happiness looks like is gonna be one of the pearls in the album, which is gonna be a splendid ending of this journey! :)
